We take our golden doodle, Miso, to D’Tails for grooming and she loves it. Before we found D’Tails, grooming was absolute torture for her. We had tried 3 or 4 other places, and it was always a terrible experience for her. But we’ve been having her groomed by Bertha at D’Tails for the last 3 years, and it has been life changing. I have no idea how Bertha did it but Miso loves going to get groomed now and we couldn’t be any happier! She is the best!!!

I was a little hesitant to take my dog to a grooming appointment here given a couple of older, not-so-great reviews, but I’m so happy I decided to try D’tails grooming! David, one of the groomers, did an incredible job grooming my senior pup. He was patient with her ailments and gave my pup the perfect cut. Pricing was also extremely fair for Boston! My experience at this boutique was awesome. My dog doesn’t like dogs so I can’t speak to the doggy daycare, but the boutique owner and the grooming services surpassed my expectations. It was an extremely pleasant experience and we can’t wait to go back! My other pup who wasn’t being groomed even got a few free treats to take home :)

Cat friendly!!! I took my long-haired cat Benny to D’Tails for his first professional grooming and could not be happier with the service I received! Excellent customer service - I spoke with the owner before making the appointment, and she was so warm and reassuring. Benny can be skittish and anxious, so she offered me the option to schedule so that he’d be the only pet being groomed during that time block. The price for a full service (bath, haircut, nails, sanitary trim) was extremely fair. I will definitely be back!!

We have been bringing our Cavapoo, Millie, to D’tails for regular grooming for about one year and couldn’t be more satisfied with their service! The haircuts and shampoos are excellent, everyone at the shop is positive and friendly, and Melissa and the team are do easy to work with. Their flexibility in taking Millie a few minutes early if necessary for our schedule, and the communication (appointment reminders and “ready to pick up” notes) are very helpful.

We send our frenchie Sofie to D’Tails for daycare and she LOVES it! She starts sprinting as soon as we turn onto the street. I am always so impressed that everyone on the D’Tails team knows her name and recognizes both me and my husband when we come in to pick her up - even the owner! They treat her like a princess, carrying her up the stairs when she is too tired from a day of playing to climb up them herself. They even send her home with a bag of goodies on her birthday! They text picture updates in the middle of the day which I love to get while I’m at work. She recently started getting groomed with Bertha at D’Tails and Sofie smells fresh and clean for weeks after her bath. Sofie is obsessed with Bertha! The entire team is professional and just wonderful - it’s clear they love our fur baby and take great care of her! We only have great things to say!

The team at D’Tails from daycare to grooming have been taking care of my baby girl since we got her over 3 years ago. Unless I move out of the south end I would never choose anywhere else to go. They take such good care of her and make her look beautiful every time.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my pet, Olive, for grooming and a nail grind, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The groomer showed exceptional care and professionalism, ensuring Olive felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the appointment. The grooming was flawless, with Olive's coat looking shiny and well-maintained, and her nails perfectly trimmed with a gentle touch. I’ll be back!

Fantastic Groomer! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. Quinn certainly knew what she is doing. I have been in Boston now for a year and I’ve finally found a quality groomer who knew how to groom my wire hair dachshund. I felt the pricing was completely in line with the grooming my dog received! Thanks so much.
